Tall Tales Company - in Your hands
An ode to 300 years of St John Passion in a unique chamber version of the work with just four singers, strings, flute, synthesiser and electric guitar. Meanwhile, the essences of the selected arias and choruses are visualised in an emotional language of movement, tension and release, by four acrobats from Tall Tales Company. A unique musical and visual translation. Experience the work as you haven’t before, it’s Bach at the cutting edge and at incredible heights!
Perhaps Bach’s immortal setting of Jesus’ last days is essentially… about us. Although the music and text are centuries old, they invite us to reflect on the choices we make in our own lives. How do we take responsibility, face our fears, deal with loss and dream about a future, any future?
The premiere of this production was realized with the support of the Tax Shelter measure of the Belgian Federal Government through Flanders Tax Shelter.

Zirkus Chnopf - Le cours des choses
Le cours des choses, is Zirkus Chnopf's (CH) production for the 2024 season, featuring 5 professionals and 6 teenagers and young artists between 14 and 23 - in the open air.
Le cours des choses is about the big and small connections in a group or a system. What happens when everyone works together and what happens when more and more oppose each other?
The show playfully questions our fixed logic of consequences and challenges our imagination. Will the performers succeed in providing new paths? A play with risk and humour at the interface between circus, dance and music.

Tea Time Company - Leverage
In Leverage, two women defy the balance point of a 2.5 meter long pole. The pole acts as a scale, enabling the performers to defy their physical limits, to define new hierarchies.
While climbing, relying on each other and folded under and over each other, the duo is completely absorbed in their relationship. Meanwhile, the pier and chasm below them is surrounded by the ever-threatening danger of more and more raging water.
